Public commision. Memorial designed in 2015, inaugurated on the 5th of november 2016.

Mirando desde el atalaya

  Looking from the Watchtower”   was born from the reactivation of a workshop that had been silent for years, threatened by urban pressure and speculative policies. There, through a slow and complex process of manually stretching fine silver, I create threads that become the basis for small sculptures. This patient work allows me to resist the accelerated and impersonal logic of industrial production. Each piece is both memory and transformation: a gesture of healing and a way of opposing the power narratives that attempt to erase spaces and experiences. “Mirando desde el Atalaya”  nace de la reactivación de un taller que llevaba años en silencio, amenazado por la presión urbanística y las políticas de especulación.
