FAVA365 Artistic Residency

A permanent intervention in the public space of the town of Vilanova d'Alcolea, consisting of the literal "discovery" of an old silo that remained forgotten and hidden under the asphalt for decades. We opened the old access to the silo, provided a glass cover, and installed lights, so that its interior would be visible day and night.

Mirando desde el atalaya

  Looking from the Watchtower”   was born from the reactivation of a workshop that had been silent for years, threatened by urban pressure and speculative policies. There, through a slow and complex process of manually stretching fine silver, I create threads that become the basis for small sculptures. This patient work allows me to resist the accelerated and impersonal logic of industrial production.
